Tarpon Shores is fantastic. I had an urgent need to see the dentist last week, and Dr. Shanaka and the team made time to see me immediately and quickly resolved the issue. Tarpon Shores provides excellent care, and I highly recommend them.

I am impressed and overwhelmed.My proceedure went more smoothly and uneventful than I could ever of imagined. No pain, no fear and I got through it with little anxiety. Thank you, thank you. Very little pain in recovery, no feeling of illness. Used ice on my gums and slept well . No pain today. At what point do I use the new teeth and to what level? Thanks again….Joel Kranich

I had a tooth with a cavity under a crown. I was gracciously added on to the schedule for the same day. The anesthesia was achieved painlessly and was complete. The entire procedure of removing the decay was painless. A new temporary crown was made. Postoperatively, the numbness persisted for about 5 hours after onset and one dose of tylenol was all that I needed

Best dental office I have ever been to! Doctor and entire staff caring knowledgable, spent lots of time explaining and educating, making sure I was comfortable. I wanted to share the very positive experience I had with Dr. Shanaka. My crown fell off, and of course it was on a Friday night. Dr. Shanaka was on call that weekend. Because I was not comfortable waiting until Monday, Dr. Shanaka met me on Saturday when they were closed to re-cement the crown. He has a wonderful disposition and patiently explained what was going on with the tooth. He was a huge help when I needed it and such a great guy on top of being a great dentist.

I had an emergency with a cracked tooth and Dr. Shanaka and his team were so great about getting me in quickly, arranging a referral for a root canal and even having me come in on a day they are usually closed to get my crown done. They are so calm and professional that it makes it a good experience. I am so fortunate to have Tarpon Shores as my dental provider!

Dr. Shanaka and his entire staff is amazing! For context, I’m 42 and I’ve seen several dentists since moving to Sarasota. I almost gave up hope in finding someone who understood me and could address my issues within reason (cost-effectively). I was referred to Dr. Shanaka by friends, and he’s now stuck with me! He’s kind and genuine, took the time to actually listen, and work with me to develop a plan that addressed my dental concerns, but also fit in my budget. If you’ve had similar experiences, I promise that Dr. Shanaka will be your last stop!

Being a retired dentist with 37 years of practice behind me it was enjoyable to meet Dr Weerasooriya and his pleasant staff. The pre-visit communications were efficient, I was seen on time, had a thorough examination and comfortable treatment by the hygienist. I look forward to visiting them again in their new office. I highly recommend this practice.
